Partner and Head of Commercial Property Law at Brethertons

About Me

I joined Brethertons when I qualified as a solicitor in 2002. I advise commercial customers on a wide range of property issues including Landlord and Tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals and option agreements. The customers I look after include large scale developers, national retailers, pension funds, investors and businesses of all sizes. I have presented a number of seminars and webinars over the years on a variety of topics ranging from the technically complex and detailed “how to remember people’s names when networking” through to the more light hearted “Implications of the withdrawal of the air conditioning refrigerant gas R22” (the latter being a particular career highlight). I’m a ranked lawyer in the 2015 edition of the Chambers UK guide for solicitors. Outside of the office my two young children keep me very busy and entertained with the rest of my free time pretty much revolving around sport with cycling, football and golf being particular favourites. Keep this to yourself but I’ve also started to become a little bit obsessed with baking following my participation in the Brethertons Team Commercial Bake Off where I was awarded Third Prize (appeal lodged – decision pending).
