Katherine Cereghino

Solicitor at Brethertons

Rugby, United Kingdom

About Me

As a solicitor in Team Commercial, my role is to help companies and business navigate their way through the murky waters of the English legal system. I advise on all areas of company law including business sales and acquisitions, supplier contracts and terms and conditions of business and e-commerce arrangements. I started my career in the legal profession as a residential conveyancer before moving to the commercial side in 2005. I studied for my professional exams part-time and was awarded a distinction and a Law Society Prize for Excellence having come top of my class. I qualified in February 2007 and have been advising companies and businesses ever since. I have a particular interest in the health and care sectors and, in particular, businesses regulated by Ofsted or the CQC. I have completed a number of successful deals for clients working in this area; be that nurseries, care homes or dental practices. I also have significant experience advising companies who trade online how to ensure continued compliance with current, ever-changing legislation. Outside of work, I enjoy motorcycling and gardening in the summer, cross stitch and knitting in the winter and computer programming and watching tennis all year round. If you need legal advice for your business and you think I can help you then I would love to hear from you.
